Slumming in Gotham

Fox pic bows for biz

Industryites went slumming Monday night for the premiere of Fox Searchlight's "Slums of Beverly Hills," venturing to the East Village for a screening at the Village East Cinemas and party following at the Bowery Bar.

Fox Searchlight topper Lindsay Law was on hand to introduce the pic, along with helmer/screenwriter Tamara Jenkins. Also on tap were "Slums" producer Michael Nozik and cast members Natasha Lyonne, Alan Arkin, Marisa Tomei and David Krumholtz.

Revelers stayed late into the night, mingling among outdoor tables until a heavy rain drove them inside. Among the crowd were "Happiness" director Todd Solondz and producer Christine Vachon and thesps Rosie Perez, Courtney Cox and Julia Ormond. Also spotted: "Last Days of Disco" star Chloe Sevigny, a newly blond Stanley Tucci and "Safe Men" star Sam Rockwell.
