CTW taps Scott

To handle int'l production

Children's Television Workshop has tapped Julian Scott VP of international production and executive producer with the company's Intl. Television Group.

In his new position, Scott will oversee all TV production for CTW's international properties with specific responsibility for maintaining the educational values of local production adaptations of such CTW franchises as "Sesame Street" and "Big Bag," among others. Scott will provide on-site consultation through all phases of project development and production for all of CTW's co-production partners.

Prior to joining CTW, Scott was a producer of the BBC sitcom "Men Behaving Badly" and before that he was head of production and operations at Walt Disney Television Intl.

Scott will report to J. Baxter Urist, senior VP of CTW's Intl. TV Group.
