Gumpert reports to Jonathan Bader, senior VP of business and legal affairs. Gumpert was previously senior director of business and legal affairs, working on "What Dreams May Come," "Very Bad Things" and Interscope's upcoming production and development slate.
Gumpert joined Interscope one year ago from Columbia Pictures, where he was a senior attorney in theatrical legal affairs. While there, he negotiated and drafted production agreements for numerous motion pictures including "The Cable Guy," "Men in Black," "Anaconda," "Booty Call" and "Get on the Bus."
Prior to joining Columbia, Gumpert spent a year at Troop, Meisinger, Steuber and Pasich as an entertainment transactions attorney. He worked as a legal counsel for such entertainment companies as Fox, Columbia Pictures, Viacom and Paramount.
