Crouse joins Pacino in Mann tobacco pic
Co-stars with Crowe, Plummer and Venora
Crouse will play journalist Sharon Bergman, the companion of "60 Minutes" producer Lowell Bergman, played by Pacino. Russell Crowe ("L.A. Confidential") has already been cast as Jeffrey Wigand, the former tobacco exec turned whistleblower (Daily Variety, Feb. 4).
In the cast are Christopher Plummer and Diane Venora, who will also be seen in Clint Eastwood's "True Crime."
Crouse recently finished shooting a starring role opposite Richard Thomas in the telepic "Beyond the Prairie: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder," for CBS.
She is represented by Renee Jennett at Don Buchwald & Associates and managed by Black, Lawrence & Silverhardt Entertainment.
