Hunter, Sutherland 'Wanted' for drama

Sutherland also to helm

Oscar-winner Holly Hunter and Kiefer Sutherland will star in Phoenician Films' domestic drama "Woman Wanted."

Sutherland will also direct the pic, which is based on a script by Joanna McClelland Glass. Damien Lee will produce; exec producers are Elie Samaha and Elliott Lewitt ("At Close Range").

"Wanted" concerns a divorcee who answers a job ad and finds herself mending the rift between an estranged father and his troubled son, played by Sutherland.

Sutherland has previously directed "Truth or Consequences," "Love & Blood" and "Last Light."

Hunter won an Academy Award for her performance in 1993's "The Piano." Her other credits include "Crash," "Raising Arizona" and "The Firm."

Hunter was repped by ICM's Steve Dontanville; Sutherland was repped by Dontanville and manager Suzan Bymel.
