Bill Cable dead at 52

Actor and stuntman

Bill Cable, an actor and stuntman, died March 7 in Los Angeles of complications resulting from a motorcycle accident he suffered 18 months earlier. He was 52.

Cable appeared in numerous films, including "Basic Instinct," "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark," "Pee-wee's Big Adventure," "Blue Lagoon," "The Issue at Stake" and as Tarzan in "Tarzan of the Amazon."

Cable is survived by his mother, Violet Anderson, a sister, two aunts, a niece and his fiancee, Nancy Youngblood.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Crippled Children's Society, 7120 Franklin Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046.
