Tim Vignoles has joined the new firm Garner Intl. to play the key role in leading all entertainment activity for that practice worldwide.
Vignoles spent the last seven years as a partner at headhunting firm Korn/Ferry Intl., running its European office. Before that he held senior positions with Universal TV and Columbia Pictures TV.
Vignoles was involved with early pioneering of transatlantic TV co-production at Universal and established Columbia Pictures TV as the leading exponent of TV movie co-production in Europe.
Garner Intl. founder Andrew Garner said: "We are extremely proud to have attracted one of the key search executives in the world in the important media and entertainment markets."
Meanwhile, Sally Busby has been appointed head of the entertainment and media practice of Korn/Ferry Intl.
Supporting clients in television, film, distribution, publishing, music and new media, Busby will work closely with the Global Entertainment and Media Practice, which has bases in Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong and London.
Busby ran her own media consultancy, the Global Network, for the last eight years.
Bill Simon, managing director of the Global Entertainment Practice at Korn/Ferry, said: "Sally joins us with a very strong track record in the industry and will be an immediate asset to clients who depend upon our commitment to provide in-depth industry expertise."
