'Lost' role found for Harris

He'll star opposite Kinski, Greenwood

Jamie Harris ("In the Name of the Father") has inked to star in "The Lost Son," a drama from Scala Prods.

Harris plays a heroin-addicted villain opposite Nastassja Kinski and Bruce Greenwood in the film, which revolves around the kidnapping of young children for prostitution.

Directing the pic is two-time Oscar-winning cinematographer Chris Menges, whose helming credits include "Second Best," CrissCross" and "A World Apart." Pic is scripted by Dan Weldon and produced by Stephen Woolley and Nik Powell.

Harris, the youngest son of Richard Harris, has appeared in "Princess Caraboo" and "Sex Police" and stars in the upcoming films "Suicide" opposite Alison Eastwood and "Marie, Bae Des Anges" for director Manuel Pradel and Canal Plus.

The thesp is repped by Metropolitan Talent Agency and Michael McLean & Associates.
