Betty Thomas moves to CAA

Jumps from ICM

Betty Thomas, the director and producer whose credits include Fox's upcoming "Dr. Dolittle," has jumped to Creative Artists Agency, which will represent her in all areas.

Thomas' previous agency was International Creative Management.

She is attached as producer and helmer on Paramount's "Male Pattern Baldness." Thomas also has hung out a production shingle with partner Jenno Topping. Current projects include Columbia's "The Party."

She previously helmed "Private Parts" and "The Brady Bunch Movie" and won a Directors Guild of America award for HBO's 1996 vidpic "The Late Shift."

Before making her name as a director, Thomas worked as an actress in film and TV, punctuated by an Emmy-winning stint as cop Lucy Bates in police drama "Hill Street Blues." Film roles include "Troop Beverly Hills" and "Used Cars."
