DreamWorks has bought the romantic comedy pitch "Second Time Around" from producer John Fogel and JAF Entertainment for low against mid-six figures.
Written by Allan Loeb, Matt Goodman and David Schwartz, it's the story of a man who dies shortly after he learns that his wife has been cheating on him. He gets the chance to live his life over again, knowing everything he knows now. The harder he tries to reshape the course of his life, the more he gets things tangled up.
DreamWorks exec Mark Haimes brought the project to the studio, and production topper Robert Cooper made the buy.
Attorney Jeremy Barber of Loeb and Loeb negotiated the deal on behalf of the producers and writers.
