New series the latest addition to TNBC programming

NEW YORK -- NBC will launch a new series, "One World," this fall as part of its Saturday morning teen block of educational and informational programming dubbed "TNBC" (Teen NBC).

"One World," produced by Peter Engle Prods. in association with NBC Enterprises, is a half-hour comedy about six racially diverse teens living with their adoptive parents. The show, which will premiere Sept. 12, is NBC's first foray into a family-oriented comedy on Saturday morning.

The 1998-99 TNBC fall schedule will consist of "Saved by the Bell: The New Class" (10-10:30 a.m.), "One World" (10:30-11), "Hang Time" (11-11:30), "City Guys" (11:30 a.m.-noon), "Hang Time" (noon-12:30 p.m.) and "NBC Inside Stuff" (12:30-1 p.m.).

The three-hour block is designed to assist NBC affiliates in meeting their commitment to air a minimum of three hours of educational and informational programming for children each week.
