United Talent Agency has bolstered its TV client corps, signing writer Edward Bernero ("NYPD Blue," "Brooklyn South"), producer Joe Davola ("The Keenan Ivory Wayans Show"), writer Tom Hertz ("Spin City," "The Larry Sanders Show"), Emmy-winning producer Stan Rogow ("Fame" and the telepic "Playing for Time") and Emmy-winning writer-producer John Tinker ("St. Elsewhere," "L.A. Law").
Doug Segars has been promoted to agent in the acting division of Metropolitan Talent Agency. Segers joined Metropolitan three years ago.
Recent UCLA grad Nicole Jefferson, who is set to write and direct "Party Over Here" for MTV/Paramount Pictures, has signed with Writers & Artists Agency. She will be repped by Stephen Gates and Larry Kennar, and continues to be managed by Niad Management.
Actor-rapper Fredro Starr also signed with Writers & Artists, where he will be repped by Kennar, Chris Schmidt and Mitch Geller. Starr, who co-stars in Miramax's upcoming "Ride," continues to be managed by Edmonds Entertainment.
