Universal Concerts has tapped entertainment industry vet Kimberly Brightman as veep of finance.
In the newly created post, Brightman will be responsible for financial planning, systems, business deal analysis and operations for one of the industry's leading concert promotion firms.
"Kim has worked with some of the leading media companies in the U.S.," said Jay Marciano, prexy of Universal Concerts. "Her financial experience is impressive."
Brightman joins Universal from Home Box Office, where she served as director of West Coast finance and oversaw the financial management of HBO Pictures, Original Programming, HBO Independent Prods. and Citadel Entertainment.
Before HBO she was VP of finance for 20th Century Fox TV, and worked several years in various senior positions for Fox Broadcasting and 20th Century Fox Film Corp.
