TCI elevates three exex

Cocoros, Koets, Ravenel fill exec veep slots

DENVER -- Cable giant Tele-Communications Inc. has pinned exec VP stripes on three key execs.

Leila Cocoros, a 13-year TCI veteran, has been upped to exec VP of corporate communications. Her duties have been expanded from media and employee relations to include oversight of TCI's editorial services, website communications and corporate contributions. Cocoros most recently served as senior veepee of media and employee communications.

Ann Koets has been promoted to exec VP of finance, overseeing the cabler's investor relations, accounting and financial reporting divisions, as well as employee payroll and benefits issues. Koets, most recently exec VP of financial services, has been with TCI since 1983.

Bruce Ravenel has been tapped for the newly created post of exec VP of interactive ventures. Ravenel will spearhead the development of interactive services to be featured on TCI's digital cable offerings. Ravenel has served in a variety of new media-related posts for TCI since 1991.
