Warren Jenson, NBC's senior VP and chief financial officer, announced he will leave the network to become executive VP and chief financial officer for Delta Airlines.

NBC is expected to announce a replacement for Jenson soon, and sources said an internal candidate will likely get the job.

Jenson joined NBC in his current position in July 1992. In 1987 he joined NBC parent company General Electric, where he was staff executive and senior manager of mergers and acquisitions and, later, was director of investor relations. Prior to NBC, Jenson worked for Ernst & Young in Newport Beach, Calif.
