Former 7th Level tech exex to work on digital animation projects
Zoom was founded to develop animated educational and entertainment titles for various media, including television and animated features.
As vice president of animation at 7th Level, Kuenster designed CD-ROM titles, including "The Universe According to Virgil Reality." He has also worked in traditional animation at Disney and Don Bluth Studios and is involved in the development of Internet-based interactive educational cartoon networks.
Bernstein, a former animation producer for 7th Level, co-produced the "Barney ActiveMates" CD-ROM, in partnership with Microsoft, and served as producer and game designer of the Tamagotchi CD-ROM with Bandai Digital Entertainment.
Zoom has already lined up work on a number of projects, including a short animated homevid feature for Bandai Entertainment based on the Tamagotchi toy, titled "Now Museum, Now You Don't." Pic is being produced in conjunction with 7th Level, and is slated for a spring release.
Zoom is based at the Los Angeles Center Studios, the first production facility in downtown Los Angeles.
