Honoring late thesp

Lloyd Bridges, who died on Tuesday at 85, will be featured in salutes on American Movie Classics and Nick at Nite's TV Land, beginning Friday.

Beginning at 8:15 a.m., AMC will show his films "White Tower" (1951), "The Kid From Left Field" (1953) and "Calamity Jane and Sam Bass" (1949). At 10 a.m., the channel is showing a half-hour interview with Bridges.

TV Land has unearthed two rarely seen episodes of "The Lloyd Bridges Show" anthology series that aired on CBS. The titles are "A Pair of Boots" (from 1962) and "My Daddy Can Lick Your Daddy" (1963), which find Bridges portraying a Civil War officer and a championship boxer, respectively.

Those shows are skedded for Sunday at 5 p.m. on the Viacom nostalgia cabler as part of the channel's "Museum of Television & Radio Showcase" series.
