Jeremy Kramer has joined Miramax Films as VP of production. Coming to Miramax after stints at Motion Picture Corp. of America and Orion Pictures, Kramer will be based in L.A.

Sylvia Esquivel has been promoted to senior VP and general counsel for Spanish-lingo broadcaster Univision, having served as acting general counsel since August. Based in L.A., Esquivel will continue to be responsible for all legal matters for the Univision Network, the Univision TV Group and cabler Galavision.

Buena Vista Television has promoted Tom Cerio to senior VP and general sales manager of its Eastern division. Cerio has served as BVTV's Eastern division VP and general sales manager since 1990.

Nickie Jurado has been named director of communications for Spanish-lingo radio network Radio Unica. Based in Miami, Jurado segues from the L.A. office of Bozell Sawyer Miller Group, where she repped for broadcaster Univision. Launched in January, Radio Unica is the first full-format, Spanish-language talk-radio net in the U.S., with five O&Os and about 50 affils.

Weddington Prods. has named Marc Vanocur managing director. He will handle budgeting, operations and all business affairs for the company.

Ticketmaster has tapped Timothy J. Wood executive VP of the Western region and director of European development, and has upped Claire L. Rothman to exec VP. With the ticketer 14 years, Wood will oversee the nine-state Western area and will help push the company into Europe. Joining Ticketmaster in 1995, Rothman will rep the outfit's profile in the entertainment and biz communities.
