SYDNEY -- Major Aussie film and TV producer-distribber Beyond on Tuesday reported a 1.4% increase in post-tax profits to A$1.7 million ($1.1 million) for the six months ended Dec. 31 on revenues of $24.8 million, up 21%.
The result was attributed to weaker than expected film sales and startup costs for an online division. The film division posted a $330,488 loss, while online lost $321,651.
