Richard Paul Krawetz, a former talent and literary agent, died Friday of AIDS complications at his home in Los Angeles. He was 45.
Krawetz, a graduate of the U. of California at Berkeley, began his career as director of the Robert Friedus Gallery in New York.
Following a stint with the Bobby Zarem Agency in New York, he worked as a talent and literary agent in Agency for the Performing Arts' New York office from 1986 to 1993. His client roster included Aaron Sorkin, whose play "A Few Good Men" was a Broadway hit.
A requiem mass will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 7501 Hollywood Boulevard, in Hollywood.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Krawetz's name may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church's general fund.
