'Seamless' Seagal bow

Young thesp's first starring role

Only days after signing a five-picture deal with First Miracle Pictures, newcomer thesp Kentaro Seagal has signed to star in Shower Prods. "Seamless," a Gen-X pic set in the retro fashion and music scene.

Seagal, a former model, will play a hip fashion designer in the film. Debrah Le Mattre will direct.

Shower's Junichi Mimuri and Hye Young Choi will produce. Trivision Entertainment is handling international distribution.

Seagal's deal was brokered by manager Steven Fenton, and attorney Karl Austen. Jacoc Bresler repped Shower.
