Italo 10-screener gets greenlight

MILAN -- The country's largest multiplex, a 10-screener, has just been greenlit by the authorities in Sesto San Giovanni, on the outskirts of Milan.

It will be part of a $100 million government-backed commercial complex called Mediapolis, which will include office space for entertainment and multimedia production and distribution companies.

Final approval for the complex is expected in the next few weeks and construction is skedded to get under way by summer.
