WB TV inks neigher to pact

Writer/producer to develop and produce drama programming

Warner Bros. TV has inked an exclusive two-year, low seven-figure development and production deal with writer/producer Geoffrey Neigher.

Neigher, who won an Emmy Award for producing David E. Kelley's "Picket Fences," will create, develop and produce drama programming for the studio.

Neigher has written and produced in the past for several prominent TV production houses, including Steven Bochco Prods. and Brand/Falsey Prods.

He most recently served as supervising producer on Bochco's now-canceled ABC dramas "Total Security" and "Murder One." He spent two seasons on CBS' "Picket Fences," and he was a co-producer on Brand/Falsey's CBS comedy/drama series "Northern Exposure," where he earned an Emmy nomination for writing.

The deal was cut by Warner Bros. TV president Tony Jonas and Jim Preminger at the Jim Preminger Agency.
