Daley bows White Rock sales, distribution firm
Vancouver-based company gets exclusive rights for Rampage product
White Rock will be exclusive sales agent for films made by Gavin Wilding's Rampage Entertainment, a Vancouver-based production company. White Rock will handle Rampage product worldwide in all media, as well as acquiring its own feature projects.
White Rock's first two titles, "Raffle" and "Convergence," are both produced by Rampage and directed by Wilding. "Raffle," which is completed, stars Mark Hamill and Nicholas Lea. "Convergence," which concerns a young reporter's investigation of the world of tabloid journalism, begins shooting next month. Casting is not yet set.
Daley's background is in marketing and distribution at Lloyd Simandl's North American Releasing, which specializes in genre pictures, frequently shot in the Czech Republic and sold primarily to television and video markets.
Wilding's directing credits include Lion's Gate Films' (formerly Cinepix Film Properties) "Stag," starring Andrew McCarthy, Kevin Dillon and Mario Van Peebles; and Orion Pictures' "Listen," starring Brook Langton and Sarah Buxton.
The company will make its market debut at NATPE, which kicks off next week in New Orleans.
