ABC swaps 'Videos' for struggling 'Lois & Clark'
place. The move goes into effect on Jan. 5.
Warner Bros.' "Lois & Clark" has been disappointing to ABC this season, with the show hitting new rating lows. Most recently, it has been unable to crack a 10 share. Despite the poor performance, ABC has renewed the drama for next season. There has been speculation, denied by ABC, that the show was renewed as part of a deal that saw many of the ABC-owned TV stations secure a long-term deal for the Warner Bros. syndicated talkshow "Rosie O'Donnell."
Whether "Lois & Clark" will stay on Sunday night all season remains to be seen. There has been speculation that the show may move to Saturday or another night. "Lois & Clark" has already been sold into syndication to Turner Broadcasting at a price estimated to be $275,000 per episode.
