FLANERY GETTING 'LOST'

By DAN COX

Rounding out the intergalactic family for New Line Cinema's "Lost in Space," Sean Patrick Flanery has joined the cast as Don West, the co-officer and buddy of the patriarchal John Robinson, sources said Tuesday.

Flanery links up with William Hurt, Gary Oldman, Heather Graham and Mimi Rogers in the ensemble troupe. Pic, which starts shooting in a few weeks in London, is based on the 1960s camp TV series about a family that wanders from planet to planet trying to get back to Earth.

Flanery next plans to star in "Zack and Reba," an indie pic for Itasca Pictures. That would shoot immediately after "Lost in Space" wraps.

Flanery's feature credits include "Powder," "The Grass Harp" and Orion's upcoming "Independence." He is currently at work on "Bred and Bored," an indie pic directed by Peter O'Fallon for Live Entertainment.

His deal was brokered by Eddy Yablans of ICM. Flanery is also repped by manager Miles Levy.
