John Vasey has been upped to VP of original programming and Pancho Mansfield has been tapped VP of development for Showtime Networks Inc.
In his new position, Vasey, who has most recently served as director of series development for Showtime, will be responsible for supervising both series and movies. His current projects include the anthology series "The Hunger," the forthcoming stock-car racing series being executive produced by Larry Gelbart called "Fast Track" and the Holocaust film series "Rescuers."
Mansfield, who was promoted from director of development, will supervise various Showtime original movies and series projects from development through production. He also oversees development and production for projects originated by international partners.
Both executives will report to Showtime's exec VP of original programming, Mark Zakarin.
