Camera Platforms losses double
Cam car marketer chalks up $1.8 mil loss for year
Camera Platforms Intl. Inc. losses more than doubled in 1996, largely due to expenses related to change of ownership and falling sales in its light-maker division, the company reported Monday.
For the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, the Los Angeles-based camera car marketer reported a loss of $1,883,000, compared to a loss of $851,000 for the same period the previous year.
Camera Platform's reported 1996 revenue of $3.3 million reflects a 23% drop from $4.3 million for the same period the previous year.
In October, a Los Angeles-based investment group purchased a majority interest in the company from UST Inc
