Mazza catches New Wave in veepee position
Bob Mazza has been named VP of communications at New Wave Intl., a large-format film production company that's a Los Angeles-based subsid of Belgian TV programmer D&D Media Group.
New Wave said Monday it had wrapped principal photography on "Thrill Ride: The Science of Fun," a 2-D Imax film to be distributed by Sony Pictures Classics.
Mazza previously served as VP of publicity at two L.A. visual effects companies, Boss Film Studios and VIFX. At New Wave, he reports to company founder Ben Stassen and Charlotte Huggins, chief operating officer and exec in charge of production.
