Nick seals Turkey kid outlet deal
LONDON --- Nickelodeon has sealed a deal to launch Turkey's first children's channel in a multiyear arrangement with Turkish conglom the Media Group.
The Turkish-language channel will be transmitted via cable 12 hours per day (7 a.m.-7 p.m.) beginning in the fall to approximately a half-million households.
The Media Group is a partnership between Turkish companies Karacen, Raks Holding and Yelkenci. Its sales arm, Elektromedia, will handle advertising sales for the new channel.
