David Lee Morick, a longtime character actor who worked in TV, features and on the stage , died Jan. 5 of heart failure in Studio City. He was 62.

A native of Pittsburgh, Morick arrived in Hollywood in 1956 and studied acting at the Hollywood School of Drama.

His TV credits included "Hogan's Heroes," "Little House on the Prairie," "Kojak," "The Doris Day Show" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."

Feature credits include "A Star Is Born," "Earthquake" and "S.O.B."

Morick also appeared in several stage productions including "Slaughter of the Innocents" at the Pasadena Play-house.

He is survived by his wife, actress Sylvia Lilly Morrick, three brothers and a sister.

Funeral services are pending.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Actors Fund.
