CASTAGNOLA TO SR. VP, U MUSIC
Universal Music & Video Distribution has named Joyce Castagnola senior VP, sales and distribution.
The move further bolsters the exec suites at the ascending distribution outfit, which handles the music and video product released from Universal's contingent of film, music and video banners.
In her new post, the sales vet will oversee all sales operations of the company, which has experienced a sharp rise in its market share since being restructured last year.
"Joyce is a proven sales executive," said Jim Urie, exec veep-G.M. of UMVD. "Her skills at balancing creativity with strong business acumen will help take our company to its next level of success."
