Top markets get 'Wild'

NEW ORLEANS -- Paramount Domestic Television has closed deals for its new weekly firstrun hour series "Wild Things" in 75 markets, including 23 of the top 25 markets, representing more than 70% of the country.

Sales involve stations representing several leading broadcast groups including Chris- Craft, Paramount, Sinclair, Clear Channel and Newsweb. Stations that have purchased "Wild Things" include WWOR New York, KCOP Los Angeles, WPWR Chicago, WPSG Philadelphia and WSBK Boston.

The series, which premieres in September, will bring viewers face to face with some of the world's most fascinating and deadly creatures as they battle for survival and in turn, confront man's intrusion into their world.
