PEARSON JOINS KTLA STAFF
Pearson comes to KTLA from sister Tribune station WGN Chicago, where she has worked as creative services director since 1987. She joined Tribune two years before, serving in the same position from 1985-87 at the company's KWGN Denver.
Nine-time Emmy winner
During her years at WGN, Pearson won nine local Emmy Awards for writing and producing promotional announcements for a variety of programs including sports, station image and children's programming, as well as graphic design.
Before joining Tribune, she served five years as director of promotion/entertainment for Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta, where she also hosted the magazine program "Winners" and provided news updates on TBS and packages for CNN Headline News.
Reardon, who preceded Pearson as KTLA's station manager before his promotion last year, said of Pearson's hire, "Pam brings a tremendous amount of experience in marketing and promotion to the station. She will oversee marketing, production and programming for us and will certainly have a role in our future growth."
