She will work with Marc Perman, director of ICM's sports celebrity department, to expand the agency's involvement in repping sports stars in commercials and endorsements, motion pictures, television, broadcasting and publishing. Most recently, Smoller worked in the office of ICM's Bill Block. Before joining the agency, she worked as a tennis agent at Match Point Promotions.
Gleb Klioner and Tiffany Kuzon have been promoted to agents at United Talent Agency. Klioner has been on the desk of UTA partner David Schiff, and Kuzon has been on the desk of Adam Isaacs. The promotions take effect immediately, and both are talent agents.
Laura Engel has joined the Kraft Benjamin Agency as a film music agent. She most recently was a manager with clients such as Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman and Craig Chaquico.
Alison LaPlaca, who starred in NBC's "The John Larroquette Show" and Fox's "Duet," has signed with Metropolitan Talent Agency. Her key agents will be Chris Barrett and Adam Levine. She is also repped by manager Michael Mann.
Judy Page has been promoted to vice president of talent at Susan Smith & Associates. She first joined the agency 13 years ago, after serving as a casting director with Warner Bros.
Lillo Brancato, star of the upcoming indie feature "Provacateur" with Jane Marsh, has signed with Innovative Artists, to be repped by Robbie Kass and David Guc. Brancato, who is managed by Erik Kritzer, recently signed to star in the indie "Stiks."
