Michael Rooker, who just wrapped "Liars" opposite Tim Roth, has signed to join Chow Yun-Fat and Mira Sorvino in "Replacement Killers" for Columbia Pictures, sources said.
Rooker will play the co-lead role of Stan (Zeedo) Zebrowsky, the detective investigating drug activity in L.A.
Pic is produced by Brillstein-Grey and WCG Prods.
Antoine Fuqua is helming the project from a script by Ken Sanzel.
Rooker is due out in February in John Singleton's "Rosewood." Other feature credits include "JFK," "Mississippi Burning," "Sea of Love" and "Cliffhanger."
His deal was brokered by Leslie Siebert of the Gersh Agency. Rooker also is repped by manager Erik Kritzer of Shelter Entertainment and attorney David Feldman.
