Org honors Sagansky
Sagansky was selected for "significant contributions to the industry," according to a statement released by caucus prez Roger Gimbel and awards chair Chuck Fries. At the dinner, to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Gimbel will receive the Member of the Year award.
Caucus honors pay tribute to a producer, writer or director for innovative, creative or outstanding work or for an "extensive range of contributions to the creative community," the statement said. The most recent honorees were producer Dick Wolf, writer John McGreevey and Gil Cates, best known for his stewardship of the Academy Awards show.
The 200-member caucus was formed to protect and promote the artistic rights of television producers, writers and directors.
