Wolf goes in blind for Universal pic

Film and TV writer and performer Fred Wolf has signed a blind commitment deal for Universal Pictures.

Wolf recently signed with United Talent Agency, where he is repped by Jeremy Zimmer and John Lesher. Ray Reo of Brillstein Grey is his manager.

Brillstein-Grey Entertainment will produce the pic, and U's Kevin Misher will be the executive on the project.

Wolf was a performer and writer for "Saturday Night Live" from 1992-97. He was head writer from 1995-96 and co-producer the following year. He wrote the features "Tommy Boy" and "Black Sheep," and now is writing "Mansion Wars," produced by Steve Oedekerk and Robert Kuhn for Warner Bros.
