Fox Sports West duplex ups 2, hires 2

As Fox Sports West has expanded to include new sister network Fox Sports West 2, the two networks have hired two new staffers while promoting two others.

Dan Casey has been promoted from director of research for Fox Sports Net sales to VP of research and planning for the two networks, where he will be responsible for all research and planning in conjunction with sales, pro-gramming, marketing and PR.

Ray Hopkins has been upped from director of affiliate relations to VP of affiliate relations. He will be responsible for all cable-operator and satellite-provider relations for both networks.

Steve Webster has been hired as director of PR for both networks, reporting to Kitty Cohen, G.M. for Fox Sports West and Fox Sports West 2. He replaces Kyle Eng, who moved to the new Fox Sports Arizona network. He was previously VP of public relations and special projects at Associated Entertainment Releasing.

Lastly, Sean McCall has been hired as director of affiliate relations for both networks. He was previously senior ac-count executive at Associated Entertainment Releasing.
