Weaving signs up for Southern Star's 'Interview'
SYDNEY --- "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" and "Proof" thesp Hugo Weaving has inked to star in Southern Star's suspense thriller "The Interview," the feature debut of director Craig Monahan. Pic, in which a man plays cat and mouse with two chilling interrogators, will feature a score from "Shine" Oscar nominee David Hirschfelder.
Meanwhile, "Strictly Ballroom" thesp Paul Mercurio is said to have inked to star in First Look/Overseas Film Group's "James," an Oz comedy about a grammar school rugby player who secretly wants to be a ballet dancer.
