By
K.C. Schulberg is exiting his post as senior vice president of worldwide marketing for Hallmark Entertain-ment to partner with his sister, indie producer Sandra Schulberg.

The duo will operate under the Schulberg Prods. banner. K.C. Schulberg was an indie producer before joining Hallmark five years ago, and says he wants to return to producing.

During his five years at Hallmark, Schulberg implemented promotional campaigns for numerous miniseries and telefilms including "Gulliver's Travels," "Scarlett," "Gypsy," "Mrs. Santa Claus" and "Streets of Laredo."

Schulberg worked with his sister on the Sundance Grand Prize-winner "Waiting for the Moon." The first project the siblings will work on together tentatively is titled "The Tattooed Princess." Sandra Schulberg has two movies in pre-production --- "The Cuckold's Desire" and "Shadow Magic."

Schulberg is the grandson of B.P. Schulberg and nephew of novelist and screenwriter Budd Schulberg ("What Makes Sammy Run."). His father, Stuart Schulberg was a producer for CBS and NBC.
