ABC sets Snipes in made-for

ABC confirmed that Wesley Snipes has agreed to make his network TV debut in an ABC two-hour made-for titled "Futuresport" that also will be considered as a series pilot.

The movie is described as a near-futuristic action-thriller and it will air sometime next season, according to Barbara Lieberman, senior VP for TV and miniseries at ABC Entertainment (Daily Variety, May 22). The movie will be executive produced by Ron Ziskin.

ABC also confirmed that Christopher Reeve will star in a remake of "Rear Window."
