Ex-Peacock exec Pike joins CAA

Former NBC exec and TV producer Brian Pike is joining Creative Artists Agency as an agent in the television department, where he'll focus on telefilms and miniseries.

"Brian will be a terrific addition to our team," said CAA co-chairman and TV department topper Lee Gabler, who announced Pike's appointment. Pike joins CAA after five years at the helm of his own production company, which had an exclusive deal with NBC Prods. Among the projects he exec produced were "Seduced by Madness: The Diane Borchardt Story," "Roseanne & Tom: Behind the Scenes," "Tonya & Nancy: The Inside Story" and "Triumph Over Disaster: The Hurricane Andrew Story."

Before becoming a producer, Pike held various exec positions during his seven years at NBC Entertainment. Pike served as VP of drama development from 1990 to 1992, during which time such critically lauded series as "I'll Fly Away," "Reasonable Doubt" and "Quantum Leap" were developed. Prior to that, Pike was VP of current drama programs. He joined NBC as director of telefilms in 1985.
