Johnine Novosel

Johnine Novosel, a line producer and production manager with numerous film and television credits, died Nov. 27 in Los Angeles after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 47.

Born and reared in Chicago, Novosel began her film career in San Francisco. She worked in various capacities in film production before becoming a line producer and production manager.

Her film credits include "Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead" (1995), "The Age of Innocence" (1991), "The Last of the Mohicans" (1991) and "Buried Alive" (1990).

In addition to her film work, Novosel served as a producing faculty member at the American Film Institute from 1990-96.

Novosel is survived by various family members in Chicago.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at the Mulholland Tennis Club at 4:30 p.m.
