'Summer' night in H'wood

Guests at last week's premiere of Columbia Pictures-Mandalay Entertainment's "I Know What You Did Last Summer" at the Hollywood Galaxy Theater seemed plucked from the yearbook pages of TV's freshman class.

The stars of the teen-driven fright flick --- Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Bridgette Wilson, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Johnny Galecki --- mingled with partygoers, looking every inch the part of the pageant queen-meets-rebel set portrayed in the film.

Pic is the latest from "Scream" scribe Kevin Williamson, whose sophomore effort again focuses on the horror-filled hijinks of teens amok in a Rockwellian seaside town. Wes Craven, his "Scream" director, also made the scene.

Post-show, guests were shuttled to the adjoining Hollywood Entertainment Museum, where they dined on the prom-night-like fare of cocktail shrimp and barbecue beef sandwiches.

Those along for the thrill ride included Mandalay's Peter Guber, Todd Black, Jack Lorenz and Adam Platnick, and the pics' producers, Neil H. Moritz and Erik Feig.

Spotted among assorted soap stars and MTV icons were fellow TV "classmates" Melissa Joan Hart, Nicholle Tom, Jared Leto, Jerry O'Connell and Sara Gilbert.
