King World ups Loud to VP

King World Prods. veteran Delilah Loud has been promoted to vice president of print advertising and special events.

In her new post, Loud is responsible for creating all trade and consumer advertising for King World, distributor of such firstrun strips as "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Inside Edition," "Wheel of Fortune" and the upcoming Roseanne talkshow. She'll also oversee corporate event planning and production for industry trade shows and other functions.

Loud joined King World in 1990 as director of print advertising after stints as a publicist for Qintex Entertainment and the Samuel Goldwyn Co.

In 1973, Loud and her family gained national fame as the focus of the acclaimed 12-part PBS documentary "An American Family."
