Disney hikes Ketcham

By DAN COX

Jerry Ketcham has been upped to VP of motion pictures production for Walt Disney Motion Picture Group, the studio announced Tuesday.

Ketcham will oversee all aspects of physical production for pics produced under the various banners of the studio, including Disney and Touchstone. Among the current pics he's overseeing are "Flubber," "Mr. Magoo" and "My Favorite Martian."

He reports to Bruce Hendricks, exec VP of motion picture production. He recently handled "George of the Jungle."

"Jerry has a tremendous knowledge of filmmaking and physical production," Hendricks said. "He has done a great job for the studio in his various production roles over the past three years."

Ketcham came to Disney in 1994 as a production executive and, for the past two years, has served as exec production manager.
