Fox net distrib retooled after Quoss shifts posts
Quoss' departure as senior VP of network distribution for Fox Broadcasting Co. has prompted a streamlining of the division.
Ron Garfield, also senior VP of network distribution, will take on new responsibility for overseeing Fox's affiliate relations on a national basis. Garfield, who joined Fox last September, previously supervised East Coast affiliate relations.
Garfield will relocate from New York to Los Angeles and report to Fox's L.A.-based network distribution prexy, Lana Corbi. Quoss' position will not be filled, although a new East Coast distribution exec will be installed under Garfield.
Quoss has joined Fox Sports as senior veepee of program planning and affiliate relations. She'll be involved in program acquisitions for Fox's broadcast and cable sports outlets, and serve as Fox Sports chief liaison with Fox affiliates. Quoss reports to Ed Goren, executive VP and executive producer of Fox Sports.
