Turbulence in the cabin

Talk about a long flight.

A few days after Buena Vista distribution prez Phil Barlow made national headlines by accusing his New Line counterpart Al Shapiro of inflating box office estimates, Barlow boarded a plane for a theater owners convention in Ohio.

Arriving at his seat, the Disney veteran was astonished to find that his neighbor was --- you guessed it, Shapiro.

Upon seeing the two chagrined honchos seated elbow-to-elbow, another distribution exec was heard to remark, "There is a God."
