The Eye web will likely develop a fall 1998 drama or a sitcom for the actress, who has done fairly well in her previous projects for CBS.
In May 1995, Martin appeared in the CBS telefilm "The Face on the Milk Carton," which received a 21 share and placed in the top 10 for the week. The CBS Sunday movie "Christy" received a 29 share, although the series that followed, while critically acclaimed, was short-lived.
If a new Martin series makes it to air, her mother Debbie Martin will be a producer on the show. Martin's deal was inked by Lorrie Bartlett and Bob Gersh at the Gersh Agency, and her lawyer Fred Toczek of Gang, Tyre, Ramer & Brown.
